This is the sound of a viking electric lawnmower in action; mowing a piece of lawn. Today i got my audio equipment. This is my first contribution. When i was walking around today to catch sounds, i met a man who was mowing his lawn. I asked him if i could record him while he was mowing his lawn. He agreed and i was allowed to record him mowing. It's a viking electric lawnmower. Description: a man mows the lawn with an electric lawnmower. He drives the lawn mower over a piece of path to the meadow, mows and drives the lawn mower back. At the beginning of the recording, there is a short question asked if he should start now, which i confirm. The recording is unedited. This sound describes what happens in my grandmother's garden in the evening. She lives in a village where birds singing loudly but in this time they are calm and silent. It was very relaxing sound.

Very strong sounding grasshopper. When i rode home from work at 11 a. M. I heard a strong sounding grasshopper in a neighbor's busch i run into my house and picked up my recorder and mic and run out tried coming closest possible for good sound, but it was a little too close because the hopper become silent. Ambience at furzey gardens, new forest, hampshire, uk in the summer. There are families eating, drinking and chatting at a nearby cafe whilst the birds sing in the gardens. Recorded on a zoom h5 on a tripod using the internal capsules and a dead-cat.

I wanted to record the fountain sound as well, but the fountain had already been turned off. You can hear some bird, rustling of the wind in the trees and traffic in the distance. Stepping onto hard seeds that are on the ground and then crushing them.

Using a small bag filled with cherry seeds trying to imitate walking and running on a floor covered in pebbles, sand or well, seeds. Sounds a bit percussion-esque maybe. . .

Sweeping beans scattered on the floor, sometimes with a broom, sometimes with hand. It can be used for whatever bean-like small objects on the floor, like seeds, beads, pieces of plastic, etc.

First upload. Recorded with zoom h4n. It's flax seed in an empty plastic spice container. It's a 16th note rhythm amd it loops perfectly at 130 bpm. It has some fairly subtle panning effects. Eight quarter notes long, but also works really well every 4 quarters, every three etc. I. E. When doubled and even tripled on itself in a sequencer.

This is an acapella i wrote and recorded, i have performed live versions of this at three march on monsanto's and i want to see what people would create on here.
